Celestial Lipsync Spectacular

Celestial Lipsync SpectacularLet’s put the “play” in “cosplay”!

Put on your best performance and show off your lip sync and acting skills on stage! Which song do you envision your character performing? Do you have a skit idea set to music? Can you tell us a story through song? Our judges will be watching closely to crown our Celestial Lipsync Spectacular winner!

The Celestial Lipsync Spectacular is for those who want to take the stage and perform in cosplay as your favourite character…to song! This is a performance-based competition that allows for both purchased or handmade costumes to shine on stage. We want to see you embody your character and show off your acting or dancing skills through a musical performance. Whether you choose a hit pop song or an iconic musical theatre feature is up to you! Your entry can feature music from the source material you are cosplaying from, but you must tell us a story or show us your character’s personality through music!

Rule Updates

Due to popular demand, we have expanded the definition of cosplay and added the ability to choose music from the source material you are cosplaying from. We have also extended the deadline to July 12th!
