Stephanie is an award-winning actor, screenwriter, TV director and showrunner. Originally from Montreal, she began acting at 12 in French and English. Her film credits include Maelström (Denis Villeneuve), the Oscar-nominated The Sweet Hereafter (Atom Egoyan), and Blizzard (LeVar Burton). In voice work, beyond Sailor Venus, Stephanie is also known as dinosaur-butt-kicking Regina in the original Playstation/CAPCOM video game Dino Crisis, and as warrior bunny Yin in Disney/Jetix’s BAFTA-nominated, comedy-action series Yin! Yang! Yo!
Stephanie and her writing partner Mark Ellis were co-creators and screenwriters on the popular police series Flashpoint (CBS/CTV), which continues to air across the world and earned them the Writers’ Guild of Canada’s award for “Showrunners of the Year.” The two were also co-creators, screenwriters and showrunners on the WWII espionage drama X Company (CBC/Sony Television), which shot in Budapest over three seasons. Most recently, they show-ran and wrote on the CBC/Universal International Studios police series Allegiance, shooting in Vancouver, which just earned multiple Canadian Screen Awards and nominations, including Best Drama Series.
