Pufferdoodles grew up with a love of reading, and this included both manga as well as traditional comic books. She read classics in both genres — and she feels that Sailor Moon certainly qualifies as classic! She loved watching anime from a young age as well and stepped into the cosplay community when she was 13 years old. She first appeared as Misa from DeathNote, then quickly caught the cosplay bug and began crafting more costumes. She’s been Usagi from Sailor Moon, Mona Megistus from Genshin Impact, and Jinx from League of Legends.
Her passion for cosplay evolved into a love of sewing. Puff is always looking at costumes and characters with an eye to determine the perfect fabric choice, patterns, and construction techniques to bring characters to life.
Cosplay highlights for Pufferdoodles include being recognized by: Genshin Impact, League of Legends, Arda Wigs, and Jinx’s creator. She’s enjoyed modelling for brands like Pink City, Triple Fortune, Hendrix Roe, Narces, and Racoon Guts.
She attended art school for a year to study sequential art and continues to attend many conventions in the GTA, both as a cosplayer and an artist.
