Keith Grachow is a comic book creator and teacher, writing and illustrating for comic books, graphic novels and children’s books. Additionally, he teaches artist workshops and tutors.
He’s worked in animation, as a digital ink-and-paint artist for the Disney movies Winnie the
Pooh and Princess and the Frog. Keith was a toy package designer on Bruce Lee’s Enter the
Dragon and the Sabrina the Teenage Witch toy line as well.
Currently Keith is co-writing and illustrating a graphic novel, Summer on The Swing, with his
mother, Amy Grachow. It’s a semi-autobiographical story about her upbringing in a bungalow colony in upstate New York in the 1960’s. He’s also co-writing and illustrating a comic book mini-series with Howard Wong called Reponauts – a sci-fi space adventure that touches on topics like dysfunctional families and a relative with dementia.
Keith has also written for the SCI anthology by AH Comics, Co-written a story in Cauldron,
illustrated two stories for Planches with Jean-Marc Pacelli, wrote his own comics (Yost the
Golem) and co-created and illustrated many comic books (Strange Case with Mark Bertolini
for Scout Comics, Checkmate Blues with Robert Iveniuk, three stories with TO COMIX Press (various authors) and children’s books with his mother (Up-In-The-Sky series).
