Julie Maddalena has been acting professionally for almost 50 years. With a background in mime, dance, theater, and music, Julie evolved quickly into on-camera work in feature films, television series and commercials.
Julie was next introduced to the wonderful world of voiceovers… where some of her first roles included Grimm’s Fairy Tales and Super Pig, among others, but the character that sealed her love of voiceover was Hikaru Shidou in Magic Knight Rayearth. She’s been involved in voiceovers ever since!
Her vast experience spans anime dubbing, video games, original animation films and series, feature film ADR, anime and video game directing, as well as personal coaching and classes. Her directing and coaching style reflects the same patience and nurturing she received as she was first learning about voiceovers
